Trans-metaphoria was a trans-continental, live poetic and musical happening. It featured writers and performers based in Vancouver, Canada, London, England and Brooklyn, U.S. on a hot August night of 2001. On the mic: Vanessa Richards, Tanya Evanson, Wayde Compton, Kia Kadiri, Ndidi Cascade, Troy Jackson and special guest Rha Goddess (NYC); DJ's Mr Rumble and Denise Galay; Visuals by Jan Wade and Heng Ou.

Trans-metaphoria: Poetic Workshops

POETIC ALCHEMY

PERFORMING POETRY

Poetry for performance in a supportive and experimental creative laboratory with Mannafest.

SELF PUBLISHING
Saturday August 18th 4pm - 6 pm  
Tanya Evanson (Mother Tongue Media) offered insights and advice on publishing poetry at the independent level.
